"Wow" that is the first thing I said when I sniffed inside the can as aroma's of tropical fruits just punch you in the nose like Mike Tyson, it certainly made me feel dizzy in delight too; I could not wait to get this into a glass and in my system.
As I poured it into a glass, it was far less lively as I imagined and had to force a head on it closer to the top which only then formed a thin bubbly head. The colour is an amazing juicy haze so it certainly looked appetising to my eyes. While I poured into the glass, the clear differential of aromas arised with strong notes of oranges and apricots, with a mango chucked in for good measure. Tasting is big on orange and it's pith - it really is an orange orgasm with a bit of bitterness just lingering to make you realise that it is actually a beer, but that wasn't the end of the taste as further down you go a surprising spice note came on. This is simply not just a beer, but this is a fantastic beer - I mean this is a beer I could drink forever it really is that superb. Sadly my can was a bit battered, however the funky Aztec alien in yellow and green really is a superb bit of design.
Magic Rock have a reputation as an excellent brewery for good reason, but I think this could be their finest work yet.
