After a long week my body was craving for an easy drinking, quality beer which this beer had both boxes ticked with this marvellous American Pale Ale (APA) from those heroes at Magic Rock based in Huddersfield.

Sadly the picture I took didn't do it justice, it was either getting the beer in it's true reflection without seeing the 'beerart' or vice versa so and simply blame everything else bar my laziness to try for that twenty third time. The beer was a slightly hazy blonde with very little head, but the aroma was smacking my nostrils soon as the can cracked open with pine, lemon and grapefruit just going 'loco' and being poured into the glass only intensified these notes. Now to the taste, the first thing you get is lemon peel with pine following very closely and then leading to a slight bitterness on the back note. The mouth feel too was fantastic and made this beer a real joy to drink - a classic APA done well.

This really did give me that fulfilled feeling of what my body was craving and considering I bought it on a whim feeling I needed to buy a beer while in Junkyard Bottleshop, Nottingham it was a good choice and a great idea by me at that time.

Rating: 4/5.
